Banhez Tepeztate is comprised of 100% wild tepeztate agave, possibly the rarest and most interesting of all agaves used in mezcal production today. Known for its intense, agave-forward flavor and complexity, tepeztate takes up to 35 years to harvest and is found only in steep crevices and rocky soil in remote regions of Mexico. Banhez Tepeztate is best enjoyed neat or over ice.
